I’m willing to be his exit velocity is down a good amount from years past.

Luis Castillo is walking too many batters, also...my diamond shoes are too tight

So good. I haven’t loved watching someone pitch this much since Cueto.

Is anyone not on the Castillo train?

Last I saw there were some worthy posters saying he’s never really had sustained success or something like that.

    All aboard, all welcome.

Yeah, when you dont give up hits it's not a huge issue. It did cost him a few innings tonight though. With how good he is that sucks because no one coming out of that pen is anywhere close.

Haven’t seen a Reds pitcher look this good since Soto or Cueto.

Hell of a night for Castillo, 5 walks or not. Gotta get those under control but he did great working around them.

Rijo would have to be in the conversation too in my opinion

I’m at the game. Duke is coming in next inning. Why? Is there not anyone else? Anyone?

I remember one time going out to the mound to talk with Bob Gibson. He told me to get back behind the batter, that the only thing I knew about pitching was that it was hard to hit.

I think Rijo leads that group.....if looking over a small sample of a few years, Rijo was about as good as there was in baseball.

Homer had some pretty dominating efforts in 2012-2013
