Sadly maybe this was always destined to happen to Joey at some point. I hope not and I want to believe not. But he's always been such an analytical thinking man's hitter rather than a 5 tool stud just relying on the physical talent God gave him. While he'll show a playful side he's always been wound a little tighter than most. Slumps come and go but when the team has been struggling for a long time, when the offense has pretty much sucked the vast majority of the year, and when he's battling Father Time it's all trending in the wrong direction for him. Again I hope I'm wrong. Not the end of the world if I am not. But sadly might be almost the end of the line for him.

The Cubs dont miss mistake pitches. The Reds dont swing the bat at all. I wonder why were losing.

There's a reason for that, you know.

It's mid-May, Castillo had an ERA over ERA into the last week of last season. Chill.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

No a rookie is expected to struggle especially one that missed a lot of time and did not spend much time in AAA. It is going to take time. Too many people expected too much to soon from him.

i hope Reds fans are patient with him. I have already heard people refer to him as a bust and compare him to Larson, Which is completely unfair.

Puig ahead 3-0 and then strikes out on one nowhere even close.

And Castillo did not meet expectations. Plus he is a young pitcher learning heading into his prime. Gray is an older pitcher heading out of his prime I get the concern but I am more in the wait in see camp how the year plays out.

Alright, finally someone gets it. Iglesias jumps on a fat pitch.
