Dayton made 27 of 28 2-pt field goal attempts in last night's win against Davidson, the best percentage in Div. I in 20 years. Overall FG % was 72.5%. Talk about offensive efficiency.
ESPN college gameday will be at UD next Saturday to close out the regular season. Should be a fun time, great exposure for the university and the program.

Amazing.
"One problem with people who have no vices is that they're pretty sure to have some annoying virtues."
in perception maybe....in reality it means nothing. Let's say they lose to Arizona and beat USC to end up with a share of the PAC12....then lose in the first game of the tournament. They are very likely NIT Bound. You do not have to look too far back in history for the regular season PAC 12 Champion to miss the tournament.....Washington in 2012 won the PAC12 outright and were 24-11 and were not selected on Selection Sunday.
UCLA is #76 in NET, #84 in KenPom, #61 in Sagarin, #50 in KPI, #98 in BPI, with a #69 SOS and #67 SOR. They have a losing record in Quad 1 games, a loss in Quad 3 and a loss in Quad 4 games. That is not a tournament worthy resume as it stands.

I just learned that the ACC 3 Point line was only 17'9" at one time in 1982!
Article Link"Some people are saying the new rules will make our game too much like the pros," says North Carolina State Coach Jim Valvano, whose conference, the ACC, will be playing with a 30-second shot clock and a three-point stripe that will be a paltry 17'9" from the center of the basket at its nearest point. "Nothing could be further from the truth. The pros can only play man-to-man defense, but we can play any kind we want."
That is silly.

another one bites the dust....#2 Baylor falls to TCU. That #1 Seed is in danger.

#6 FSU goes down to Clemson.....
Duke loses their second straight. If they're not careful, they just might drop down a spot in the rankings.

The Bruins continue to roll with their 7th straight win.

With their losses yesterday, NET dropped Baylor from 2nd to 5th, the Seminoles dropped 5 spots from 7th to 12th and Maryland tumbled 6 spots from 9th to 15th. Annnnnnnnndddd, Duke stayed the same at number 6. That was the same drop that they experienced after their last loss.
Duke loses on the road to the woeful Demon Deacons and doesn't budge. Seems like some fuzzy math to me.
Folks, they are trolling us.
