It's ugly up at Value City Arena so far tonight. With about 6 minutes left in the first half, the Bearcats lead 15-11. UC is shooting 20.0/11.1/33.3. The Buckeyes are countering with 27.8/16.7/0.0.

Mick remains unbeaten out at UCLA. Meanwhile, back at the Clifton ranch, Brennan is still looking for win number one.

    College Basketball 2019-2020

To add to it, he got a court order to play last night and the NCAA doubled down and said itís Memphisís responsibility if he is ineligible and they choose to play him.

Honestly, Iím surprised DJ Jeffries wasnít ruled ineligible as well. Same situation as Wiseman.

Purdue goes down at Mackey Arena to a non-con opponent...doesn't happen very often.
...and this one belongs to the Reds.

Oregon women beat Team USA. Only the 2nd time in history Team USA lost to a college opponent, having lost last time in 1999 to the Vols. They are now 47-2. Team USA had been crushing Top-10 teams this week, so it was very surprising, even though the Ducks are ranked #1.

DePaul absolutely thumping Iowa in Iowa City was unexpected.

    Wow!

I didn't see the game, but the recap I read stated that the Hawkeyes seemed to be slow and sluggish compared with the Blue Demons -- and this after DePaul, including tonight's game, completed four games (including one on back-to-back nights) in six days. Looking ahead, the Blue Demons also have a chance to possibly pad their resume before the Big East gauntlet with games on the road at Boston college, Minnesota and a home game against Texas Tech.

To me, college basketball isn't the same without DePaul being a major player. I hope they get back to former glory and banter.

So, college basketball hasn't been the same for like 35 years? LOL

After posting this, I took at look at Ray Meyer's wiki page, and it's actually been literally 35 years since he retired. Good guess! Also interesting that while he had a very nice career at DePaul, it wasn't until his last seven years that he really got it going. And while I remembered Joey Meyer having destroyed the whole thing more or less immediately, I took a look at his record, and it was actually really good for 8 years. So they had a nice 15 year run that ended after the 91-92 season. More or less immediately after leaving independence and joining the Great Midwest.
