some nights I wonder if we could play our entire AA lineup, and they would be just as effective at the plate

Liking having Peraza in the OF.
Rounding third and heading for home...

The Dodgers have squared up more balls already tonight then the Reds have in a normal week.

I would have seriously considered pinch hitting for Disco

agreed I don't see things going much better for him the rest of the way
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

If anyone got on I think they would have. They need some innings.

Disco either pitches great or gives up 4 or 5 runs in 4 or less innings. Consistency just not there with his breaking ball. I'd imagine Reed will be in to start the next inning.

I have never seen a lineup struggle so much with soft tossers.
The television crews left and about 10 reporters remained in the room. That's when Price took his turn doing the talking.
What followed was a five-minute, 34-second expletive-filled tirade. The final tally was 77 uses of the "F" word or a variant and 11 uses of a vulgar term for feces (two bovine, one equine).

Can't really afford to do it this early in a series with a pitch count that isn't terrible. But it's certainly risky to have him face the top of that order again.

They have an extra arm in the pen right now and an off day Monday. Can't concede a game right now.

Why cant Puig hit a fastball this year? I haven't watched him in the past. Has this been in issue for him?
