    Baseball Scheduling

Someone explain this to me.. Why would teams have games at 6:40, 7:10, 1:10 then 12:35 in a 4 game stretch and what is so popular in baseball about 10 minutes after the hour all around the league? Has any of this EVER made any sense to anyone and if so please enlighten me.. I get weekend games maybe being a bit early (I guess), but 12:35 then 1:10 or 7:10? Makes no sense.. I think whoever came up with baseball schedules originally must have been drunk..10 minutes to let them find a good bar stool..

Hmmm.. I guess I'm the only one wondering about this..

I believe the 10 minutes after has to do with television/radio. They have time to introduce the game and the lineup, talk about yesterday, etc. before the game starts.

It's TV and radio babeeee. In my nearly 50 years of being a baseball fan it has been this way.

    Because baseball is asymmetrical game.

If you want reliability, watch the NFL at 1 pm.

Seems like something from the days before 90 minute pre game shows of fluff.
