i prefer the Mick Taylor Stones over the Brian Jones Stones or the Ron Wood Stones.
I've been to dinner at Jimmy Buffet's house, and I've eaten it at a homeless shelter. And there's great joy and harrowing terror to be found in both places.

Yep, that was their best era. Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, Exile on Main Street, Goats Head Soup and It's Only Rock and Roll. Those 5 albums alone are enough to get just about any band in the Rock and Roll HOF. Add his innovation that turned the single Honky Tonk Woman into the classic it is as opposed to the Country Honk version and he needs more credit. He was responsible for the last 5 minutes or so of Can't You Here Me Knocking and that was pretty awesome as well.

The Stones side men also need more credit. Bobby Keys, Nicky Hopkins, Ian Stewart (an Original Stone), Jimmy Miller, Merry Clayton, Billy Preston....
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

I agree the Mick Taylor lineup is the best.
