I live in Arizona but they black me out when the Reds play in San Diego --- 500 miles away! I still can't figure that one out.

Joey was 11 for his last 18, I think. I don't want to hijack this thread, but those last 5 games that Joey played in all had something in common... Hopefully, for all our sakes, it was just coincidental, but otherwise, it could explain a lot.

Peraza has a .417 BA and a .833 OPS vs Corbin

I like this lineup. I might alter the order a little bit, but I think the personnel is good.

    Something like:

    Senzel cf
    J. Iglesias ss
    Votto 1b
    Suarez 3b
    Puig rf
    Farmer 2b
    Casali c
    Peraza lf

The Nationals Bullpen ERA is 7.23. You have got to work the count on these starters.

    Onehand-ed typing detected.

Also, I think some words were left out of this. Did you mean to type them with your other hand.

The Nats are coming in playing good baseball. I think they’ve scored 48 runs in their last 6 games.

Geno is hitting .462 with a HR a double and a 1.303 OPS vs Corbin

Look what the Nats are paying 3 pitchers

    Nationals rotation:
Patrick Corbin: 6 yrs/$140M.....$12.96M this year.
Stephen Strasburg: 7 yrs/$175M.......$38.3M this year.
Max Scherzer: 7 yrs/$210M.....$42.1M this year

sorry, onehandedness strikes... Joey's last 5 games were day games. His splits days vs nights is about .150 higher. He could be struggling with a slight loss of night vision. Imperceptible changes to the average 35 year old, but may be enough to keep him from seeing the pitches like he used to...

Very nice start Mahle (though I think that was ball 4).

I have wondered that on occasion. He’s in tremendous physical condition. I’d be willing to bet his struggles have been due to vision (and mental stuff).

I did notice his day night split yesterday. If the Reds can isolate a sub series of situations where he still excels that is a good thing. Joey just singled. Sun still up.
