The current uniforms are definitely played out. Hopefully they'll get an update next year.

speaking of jay bruce, if he was mashing home runs in seattle, i bet he'll do quite well in the phillies' park.

Offensive leaders for the 1919 Reds:

CF Edd Roush: .321/.380/.431/.811, 4 HR, 71 RBI
    3B Heinie Groh: .310/.392/.431/.823, 5 HR, 63 RBI

Pro Football Hall-of-Famer Earle "Greasy" Neale, head coach of the 1948 & 1949 NFL Champion Philadelphia Eagles, was the starting RF for the Reds that year.

How Eller, Dutch Ruether, and Slim Sallee led the Reds pitching staff in 1919, as Eller's 2.39 ERA was the highest among all Reds starters.

Backup OF Rube Bressler (who played 42 games in LF and 6 in RF) also pitched in 13 games, including 4 starts and 1 complete game. His 3.46 ERA in 41.2 IP was highest on the team, but he also had a miniscule 1.080 WHIP.

van meter was probably all excited when he saw his name in the lineup.

then he saw the opposing pitcher.

Looks like several of the players are wearing them properly. Dietrich, Winker, and Puig to name a few.

I guess if you're a pitcher, and you're going to hit a batter, hit him in the legs! That way you know they won't be stealing on you LOL

Puig acts like he can't believe he didn't hit a home run after making an out.
Or can't believe he struck out..

Bruce will need a new number in Philly. #32 belongs to Steve Carlton.
