I think you have to let him swing after 2 strikes

Yeah, idk. After 2 walks and with one out and Senzel on deck I'm making him take until he has 2 strikes atleast. Senzel smoked a ball in his first AB.

it was a gamble either way. If he had just stood there and taking strike 3 and out number 2, then we all would have complained when Senzel hit a fly ball that ended the inning.

Weird Stat o' the Night so far: Marlins had an 11-run 5th against the Brewers, lead 15-0.
Rounding third and heading for home...

I thought the health department would close a business that serves food and doesn't have hot water.

Ha. Funny image. I wonder if any player in history has taken an at bat without a bat, as directed by the manager.

Agree, another case of a rookie manager hopefully learning from his mistakes.

Exactly what I said two starts ago and was burned at the steak.

I recall in Little League All Stars, we had one of those kids that simply matured much quicker than everyone else.....so most of his at bats easily would clear the 150'-200' feet fence. So teams just began to intentionally walk him every time....and I recall he would hold the bat upside down by the barrel when standing there.

I wonder who would lay down a successful bunt first between these two starters.

Tigers slugger Norm Cash took a table leg to the plate in a game in which Angels flamethrower Nolan Ryan pitched a no-hitter in 1973.

If the game is tied after 9 they should have a bunt off
