If for no other reason, I like him because he's named after the only politician both Servo and I might vote for.

    I'm not a system player. I am a system.

Beyond Lodolo, Eric Yang might be the Reds' most successful draft pick of the season.

He's up to a 175 wRC+ in the Pioneer League in just under 100 plate appearances. That comes with a 12% BB rate and a 21% K rate. That all works out to a .371/ .474/ .516/ .990 line. BA ranks 6th in the league, OBP 3rd.

He's 21, so he's just a bit older than league average. Billings/ Greeneville have a plethora of catchers-- Carlos Reina, James Free, Luke Berryhill, and Justin Gomez to name a few. All would seem to need more ABs. Dayton has Manzanero, who seems to be as much a 1B as a C (and an organizational guy, at best) and Jay Schuyler behind the plate.

    Nice to see some success.

Would like to see him promoted.

Noticed this as well. His OPS is almost identical to what it was this year in college.
