Reds have realized that catcher is the most scarce and valuable position in baseball and are just trying to hit gold?
The organization does seem thin at the position.

Morgan Colopy of the Giants is sure to be a Thom Brennaman fave someday. He's from Centerville, OH.
Hodges is #235 on Baseball America's Top 500 and is committed to Arkansas. Seems unlikely to sign.
