I see Friedl as a future Chris Denorfia. I’m not terribly excited about that either, but it’s a major league career. Redszone seems to love that profile though. Denorfia and Ben Broussard were the first (unnecessary in my mind) Redszone darlings.

Just curious, I understand someone compared Bumpass to Friedl, but shouldn't all the extraneous Friedl talk migrate over to the thread already devoted to him?

It should, but for Bumpass' sake, he benefitz by having his name stay up near the top of the page. The comparison should die out and Friedl can go back to having his ups and downs discussed on his page, though I had to go a long way back to find it when I sought to talk aboit him and brought his page forward.

I mean, there's nothing inherently wrong with this joke, but it's just that the guy's name is Bumpass. The jokes have to be really, really good to make an impression, because one has to imagine all the low hanging fruit has already been picked in this regard over the course of AJ's 23 years on the planet.
