No doubt about that. I am still rehabbing my right groin strain I got in January skiing. Somehow during this time, I've picked up a left one. Sucks getting old. I'm scared to death to get on skis again.

I wouldn't go on skis with a healthy groin! LOL

Looking at how Bell manages, as well as possible "orders" from above, Scooter's probably not going to be immediately thrown into the fire with Dietrich playing 2B. He'll work him in gradually, looking at match-ups, get him back in the swing.

You don't screw with groin injuries. Especially of the magnitude he suffered.

The "pressure" is on Scooter. He knows he's a FA at season's end, unfortunate injury, but has to prove himself worthy of teams possibly pursuing him in the off-season.

The injury, IMO, is going to keep him from getting the contract he, and his agent, may have wanted. Even after his all-star performance with the Reds the last couple of years.

If he has a sub "Scooter" second half, he'll be sitting in the market waiting for someone to sign him. And someone will. But not for the money he wanted.
