I suspect they'll sign one of Harris or Butler. They also have to hope Redick takes another discount.
Even then, the holes that were evident last season aren't going away.
Redick has a limited shelf life as a shooter and struggled late last year.
Embiid has a limited shelf life as a dominant big and showed poorly late last year. His lack of conditioning (and perhaps work ethic?) is also troubling.
Simmons has decided not to work on his broken shot for two summers now.
They have no depth.
I floated Boston as a possibility.
They are in the mix with Capela and with Kyrie likely leaving for Brooklyn they are going to have two gaping holes to fill now.
A deal centered around Capela/CP3 going to Boston and Hayward, Jaylen Brown, and Marcus Smart heading west along with draft picks or other young players could pique the Rockets interest.

From the Boston Herald:
The Celtics must have been some kind of train wreck last season.Al Horford’s Celtic career has apparently come to an end after three years with the club. According to a source close to the All-Star center, his representation has ceased discussions with the Celts on a new contract.
That said, were I Ainge, I'd be on the phone to Boogie Cousins as fast as I could. I'd also see how many draft picks Memphis wanted for Conley (and be willing to give up all three, if necessary, plus Marcus Smart).
Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Conley, and Cousins would be, IMO, the heavy favorites to win the East next season.

They don't need to make any deal to see that money off the books. They just have to show patience.
Jackson's deal ends after this season. So does Leuer's. And Galloway's.
Paul would still be owed roughly half a billion dollars at that point.
If they wanted to make a deal, though, I could see Andrew Wiggins as an appealing option. I'm fairly sure Jackson and Galloway would work for the Wolves. (Wiggins is a wing shooter who's badly needed in Detroit and would be an intriguing talent for Casey to work with.)
Charlotte would be willing to exchange poor contracts. Malik Monk and Marvin Williams for Reggie Jackson? I could see that.
Jackson, despite injuries, had a solid season and is only under contract for another season. He's a fairly attractive chip.

"One problem with people who have no vices is that they're pretty sure to have some annoying virtues."
And all they've wasted is a year of what Blake Griffin has left. I mean, they can do that. Can they sell tickets to it? Is any decent free agent going to want to play for that team heading into the following season? CP3 would make them better, giving them a chance to play respectable basketball for a few years before they're plunged into a complete rebuild.
Agree that Minny and Charlotte might find themselves with nowhere else to go as well.
