    If Gray is gonna waste a 0-2 pitch, I'd think a curve in the dirt could be more effective than a head-high FB.

    I understand that the ball hit the dirt before it got to the mitt (barely), but I don't think it was a wild pitch. I think the pitch was exactly where it was supposed to be.
