Would rather have Farmer playing 2B tonight
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I mean, really. Putting Peraza out there after his embarrassing performance last night is inexplicable.

Votto seems to be getting a lot of days off recently.

He's old, take advantage of the DH as much as you can.
The television crews left and about 10 reporters remained in the room. That's when Price took his turn doing the talking.
What followed was a five-minute, 34-second expletive-filled tirade. The final tally was 77 uses of the "F" word or a variant and 11 uses of a vulgar term for feces (two bovine, one equine).

That’s probably why he’s playing. Manager chooses to show his confidence rather than punishing the player. Hope it works and Peraza has a good game tonight.

Gotta love his expression after his OF miscue last night. Not much of anything. Certainly no emotion. The kid is inscrutable.

Tucker Barnhart scratched from tonight’s lineup with pain in his side. Casali will play in his spot

Then they might find themselves 5 games under .500.

Time will tell if the confidence is misplaced. For now, while Peraza’s on the team, I understand Bell’s decision to try and boost the player up rather than benching him for a couple of mistakes.

I think Casali is the pain in his side.
