Louisville has got themselves an honest-to-goodness winning streak. 2 games. Well done.

Vlad G. did not pitch well, giving up all 6 runs. Eric Stout and RJ Alaniz hung up zeros for 3 innings to allow the offense to work some magic.

Aristides Aquino walked and hit the game-winning home run (18). He threw out a runner from right field.
Brian O'Grady is on a walking jag - 2 today and 5 over the last 2 games.
    Nick Longhi singled and doubled.
    Cassidy Brown singled and walked.
Narciso Crook wants to be taken seriously. He OPSd .779 at Chattanooga to earn a promotion. After today's double and triple, he is up to .863 in Louisville.

Dayton went down without putting up much of a fight, 7-2.

The pitching - De Jesus, Salazar and Rodriguez was mediocre at best.

Miguel Bautista singled, walked and stole a base (11).
    Pabel Manzanero singled and doubled.
Brian Rey singled and was plunked. He had an outfield assist as well.

    4 hits, no waiting.

Chattanooga is playing here in Jax tonight at 6;30. I live 20 miles south, but right now it's coming down in buckets

Daytona jumped early and often onto Dunedin, scoring 4 times in the first inning.

After singles by Alejo Lopez and Jose Garcia, Hendrik Clementina clubbed the baseball over the wall (7). Drew Mount walked, stole second (12) and then raced home on a single by Yon Mendoza.

The Turtles 4-zip lead didn't last long. Dunedin 1-upped them in the top of the 2nd. Daytona trails 5-4.

They took Mac to the rack. Sceroler has surrendered 5 hits and 3 walks in 2 innings.

8 more innings for the offense to retake control.

No surprise in that the Chattanooga game is being delayed.

Daytona did not dawdle in retaking the lead. They are up 6-5.

Hendrik Clementina launched another moon shot (8), a 2-run shot this time.

The game in Daytona is now tied up at 6 all.

    Close the book on Mac Sceroler at 3 IP, 5 H, 5 R, 5 ER, 4 BB, 2 K.
    Michael Byrne is on.

NOTE: Jonathan India singled in the bottom of the third and trotted home on Clementina's second home run of the game. He was replaced in the lineup to start the fourth inning.

NOTE: The Daytona announcer just stated that Clementina has 70-grade power. Take that for what it is worth.

Clementina just singled in another run to give Daytona a 7-6 lead.

I am not sure what the mechanism was that turned Stuart Fairchild's season around was, but it has worked uber effectively. Over his last 43+ games, Fairchild has OPSd .980. He walloped his first home run as a Lookout in the first inning to give his team a 1-0 lead. He is now hitting .417 for Chattanooga.

Taylor Trammell also whacked a first-inning triple.

They are flying through the game in Greeneville tonight, with Greeneville trailing 1-0 as the game moves into the bottom of the sixth.

Orlando Noriega gave up the game's lone run, while pitching 4.1 innings. Noriega punched out 6 batters.
Anthony Zimmerman has picked up the ball and gone 1.2 scoreless.

Reyny Reyes has the team's only hit. He tripled to lead off the fourth inning, but his teammates could not bring him home.

The game keeps ping-ponging back in forth tonight. Dunedin has just scored a pair, and lead 8-7.

Those runs came off of Aneurys Zabala, who has allowed a run in each of his last 5 outings. Zabala just gave up a home run. 10-7 to Roger Clemens' kid.10-7 Dunedin.

    Re: 6/30/19 small beer....

John 'Houdini' Ghyzel may have just save any chance for Daytona to win this game. He was brought into the game with the bases loaded, no outs and the Dunedin's 3-4-5 hitters coming up. Somehow, he worked out of that mess without giving up any runs.

Daytona trails 11-7, but it could have been much worse.

Chattanooga stretched its lead to 4-0.

Johendi Jiminian singled, and two outs later Taylor Trammell drew a base on balls. Mitch Nay lifted the ball over the fence (10) for a 3-run poke.

They don't ask how; they ask how many. And the answer is 1. Greeneville scored 1 run in the 9th, and the fans get some free baseball.

Raul Juarez doubled to lead off the inning, which broke a string of 15 consecutive Greeneville batters that had been retired. A sac bunt pushed him to third. A strike out made it 2 gone, and left it up to Peterson Plaz. He took a mighty rip, and dribbled the ball no more than 15 feet per the Greeneville announcer. But, he legged it out and Juarez scored.

Daytona threatens, placing runners on first and second with no outs, in the 7th, but come up empty.

    Re: 6/30/19 small beer....

Greeneville comes up on the short end of a 4-2 affair. Rehabbing Raul Wallace allows 3 in the top of the 10th, the G-Reds only get one back.

The pitching was very solid, save Wallace. Noriega 1 run in 4.1 innings. Zimmerman and Fisher both held Elizabethton in check for 2.1 innings, before things went haywire in the 10th.

    Reyny Reyes tripled.
Raul Juarez singled and doubled. That's about it. One note, Greeneville did not draw a single walk in 10 innings of play.
