Louisville draws a run closer. It's 7-5 now. One really can't say they rallied. The run came on 3 walks and an HBP. Still counts.

Tristan Archer was activated today, and has now come on in the 9th.

Louisville fought back, and had the tying run on base in the 9th, but fell short.

Sal Romano 4 hitless innings as a starter.
Tristan Archer retired the side in order in the 9th.

Alex Blandino triples, walked, got hit by a pitch.
Josh VanMeter stays hot with a pair of singles.
The Notorious One is back. He singled and took the club lead in home runs by belting a pair (18/19).
Nick Longhi singled and walked twice.

    4 unearned runs hurt.

Billings was in complete control at 8-1 until it wasn't. The Mustangs hold on for a 9-7 win.

Omar Conoropo sailed along for 4 innings, and then exploded when he came out for inning number 5.
Jerry D'Andrea picked up his first save. He struck out 3 batters in the 9th.

Victor Ruiz singled twice and doubled, lifting his average to .300.
Jonathan Willems singled twice and walked. He is hitting .333 now.
Reniel Ozuna had a pair of singles on the night.
Edwin Yon singled twice and doubled. The big guy is now up to .341.
Eric Yang singled, doubled and walked.
TJ Hopkins doubled and walked. He also threw a runner out at second base.

It got ugly in Arizona last night, as the AZL Reds fell 15-2.

The pitching was unmentionable. So, we won't. I will just say this: 3 of the pitchers used have ERAs of 17.72, 20.77 and 13.50.

    Jose Tello singled twice.
Caleb Van Blake singled and doubled.

Pretty good night for the farm. 5-3 record with 2 shutouts.
