    My guess is that they ruled obstruction happened after Thames tagged the base. But I think a case could be made that Iglesias had to slow down because the pitcher was in the way.

    Man I tell ya, I was expecting at least a decent outing by this reds lineup prior to the game and they have been a disappointment thus far. Gotta give the Mahle some support, c’mon guys.

    Very nice start from Mahle with literally only one mistake and hes losing 1-0. Wake up offense and get the kid some runs already!!

    I think for it to be called when a play is being made the umpire has to think he would have been out if not for the obstruction. I would think they agreed he got in the way but it didnt matter. I agree with the no call
