This ump's grasp of the strike zone is terrible. He's called two pitches balls that weren't even borderline

Gray's curve is bordering on filthy so far.
Well, that's what those words mean. He was here. If they don't keep him, he will have been lost/subtracted. I headed out the door today with two shoes on my feet. If I don't return with them, I have lost them. If I do return with them, I haven't added them. ---M2

Gotta give the FO credit, adding Gray, Roark, and Wood (if not for the bad luck) were legitimate rotation improvements.

I mean, Puig is really good.

I bet a lot of you are too young to remember Kevin Mitchell as a Red. He's the last Reds player I recall hitting homeruns as frickin' hard as Puig does. His balls are simply creamed.

He’s not back too soon, he just needs to adjust to MLB pitching for awhile. He hasn’t faced it in almost a full year.

The whole Scooter thing is pretty funny IMO. Prominent Reds slumped their way through April and May. Reds were patient. Yet after a week there’s now a backlash against playing Gennett.

    Short memories.

Without looking at numbers and just "watching" it doesn't necessarily look bad for Casali. He gives decent at bats and he hit that ball well. Just a long out.

I wouldn't be against dropping him down in the order though.

He never really got going against MILB pitching, I’d have liked to have seen some life down there.

I’m not impatient with him but it’s obvious he’s a tick behind.

He’ll play to the back of his playing card.

Yeah I get that he has a track record but it seems they perhaps did rush him back without necessarily even needing to.
