Josh VanMeter has been recalled by the Reds. Get that young man some plate appearances, please.

Oh, yeah. I recall him too. Favorably.

Louisville is hammering Columbus 6-0 as the game has progressed to the middle of the 5th.

Lucas Sims has been nigh on untouchable for 4 innings. He has allowed 1 hit and struck out 8.

Christian Colon has been the man offensively. Double, home run (6) and 4 runs batted in.
Brian O'Grady launched another home run (21). He and the Punisher are in a race to see who breaks the club record of 25. It is definitely going down.

Chattanooga wins 5-2. Scott Moss pitches; he wins. That's the pattern.

Moss worked 6 innings of 1 run baseball, striking out 7.
Wyatt Strahan tosses a scoreless frame.
Juan Martinez comes in get the final four outs, and the save (5).

Alfredo Rodriguez singles and goes deep (1). He also stole a base (12). Power and speed. Speed and power.
Jose Siri cracks a 2-run shot (8). He must have gotten his arm realigned, as he threw out a runner at 3rd.
Chris Okey singles and belts one out (5).

Daytona falls victim to St. Lucie by a 4-1 count.

Wennington Romero was Meh. 6.2 IP 4 R, 3 ER.
Aneurys Zabala held St. Lucie in check for 1.1 innings.

Andy Sugilio with another 3-hit effort, but he was replaced defensively late.
Hendrik Clementina doubled. His on-base streak is up to 21 games.
Bruce Yari singled twice and walked.

Thanks for the update on Friedl.

Moss might be in line for a promotion....to the Majors and straight to the Pitching Coach in Cincinnati should an opening occur. I don't want him anywhere near Louisville this season.

Dayton trails Bowling Green 4-zip. The Dragons have placed the first two hitters to come up in the 5th on base. So, maybe.

Dragons rally picking up steam. 1 run in, bases loaded and nobody out.

Greeneville fell behind early 5-0. They have cut the deficit a little, as they now trail 8-5. The game is in the middle of the 7th.

The pitching has not been good at all.

Allen Cerda has bounced back from perhaps his worst game of the year last night. He has walked, doubled and yanked one out (5).

NOTE: Cameron Warren, picked in the 22nd round out of Texas Tech joins the G-Reds.

Billings is about to start. Leo Seminati is back in the lineup, but has been pushed over to third base.

Some musical chairs were being played with the Billings roster today.

"Love is the" Ranser Amador from Billings to Greeneville
Reyny Reyes comes back the other way.

Claudio Finol heads to Dayton from Billings.
Jerry D'Andrea his heading to Dayton from Billings.

Greeneville keeps chipping away. It is 8-7 now, and they have the tying and go-ahead runs on base.

Tyler Callihan jerked one out with a runner aboard (1).

To make room for D'Andrea and Finol on the Dayton roster, James Marinan and Carlos Rivero were both placed on the 7-day injured list.

Louisville ups the lead to 7-0.

Christian Colon is a triple away from a cycle. He should get another at-bat in the game.

Lucas seems is a one-man pizza machine. 11 Ks in 7 IP. 1 hit, 2 walks and 0 runs. He is over 100 pitches, so that is likely all for him tonight.

Dayton picked up another run to cut the deficit in half, 4-2.

Billings 2-0 after half an inning. Only a TOOTBLAN kept the scoring from being worse.

Lloyd walked. Seminati doubled. Round 1 to Grande Leo.
