Last thing I read about him was earlier this year trying to bring back the Orlando Predators and he planned on playing at 42 years old.

I heard the reason he didn't get into Clemson was more than just grades. He definitely got into some legal trouble his SR year, but I don't know many details. I didn't know he kept playing, though. Least he made something out of that immense talent. I really, really didn't like that dude. Vince was as nice as could be, though.

Never met Toliver, but I have met Vince twice....crossed paths several more times. The first time I stumbled upon him and his family @ Applebees right after he got drafted. It was like early in the afternoon, and I was in for the summer from college. I was trying to locate a guy that worked there and stopped in....it was basically empty besides Vince and like 10 family members. My friend no longer worked there, but I convinced the hostess who I had met before to introduce me. I have met a handful of professional athletes....some have been courteous (Barry Larkin) and others somewhat rude (Eric Davis), but for about 3 minutes Vince and his entire family treated me like I was a family friend. I also talked to him for about a minute when he opened up his restaurant in Ormond Beach....he was there meeting and greeting everyone for about a week when it opened. I have lived in this area for about 20 years, never heard a bad word about him or his family.

Dude was the freaking drum major at DMHS. He even signed autographs for some of my teammates after he dunked on us for about 30 minutes. To this day, I'm glad to say I was too proud to ask for one.
