    India promoted to AA

Hope he hits better in that environment. Would have liked to have seen Nay promoted also,

Obviously going to try and fast track him to the majors. Barring an injury setback or his bat falls off a cliff I think he’s penciled in at 2B in 2021.

    Yep
The television crews left and about 10 reporters remained in the room. That's when Price took his turn doing the talking.
What followed was a five-minute, 34-second expletive-filled tirade. The final tally was 77 uses of the "F" word or a variant and 11 uses of a vulgar term for feces (two bovine, one equine).

If they're going to play him at 2B he'll have to start playing there. So far he's been a third baseman in the minors. My guess is that they keep him there for now and see how things sort out in Cincinnati

Chattanooga is pulling out all of the stops as they have dropped 14 consecutive, 1 shy of the Southern League record.

    India up from Daytona.

Alex Wood to start on a rehab assignment.

I don't think he is penciled in for 2nd in 2021. It might happen.

I think it's just as likely that he plays third and Suarez is at first.

Short of Votto’s early retirement, I don’t see anyone else playing first.

    Interrrrresssttingggg.

Also, we need to realize Senzel is not a CF I think. Not sure where he figures into the IF equation. 2B I suppose.
What would you say.....ya do here?

The Reds have got too many guys who aren't really what they're playing. I'm not sure three 3Bs is really the way forward, but I hope India has a strong finish boost his value heading into the winter. Better options will help as they make some decisions.

Baseball America update from Sept 30 (yesterday)

Jonathan India, 2B, Reds. India had an RBI double in four at-bats for Glendale. India played mostly third base this season at high Class A Daytona and after he was promoted to Double-A Chattanooga as well. His athleticism adds value as he can move around the diamond, but India has struggled with the bat, hitting just .038/.167/.077 through 26 at-bats so far in the Arizona Fall League

[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

No, when I watch him he looks like an infielder playing CF. Probably because he’s an infielder playing CF.

major league baseball is replete with infielders turned centerfielders, and always has been. you writing off senzel after a few months of playing center is foolish, imo.

if kyle schwarber can play left field, senzel absolutely can play center. once he gets a full year under his belt, i bet he will be at least above average defensively in center. the kid is a very good athlete.

Not a call out because I had some of the same thoughts on Senzel at the time, but has Senzel's play in CF changed your mind?
