“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

That is the truth (and, ftr, I'm 100% fine that they traded him).
    I'm not a system player. I am a system.

Edwin Encarnacion has 414 career home runs. He was developed by the Reds and with them until he was 26-years-old. *shrugs*

...and 298 more RBI's than Joey Votto.

Just add the AFL stats to his 2019 seasonal stats. You get a better sample size.

If Shed Long is to get the playing time needed to become a regular starter in the Majors, he's going to have to exceed expectations while in Seattle. The Mariners' Farm System is stacked and it's going to be difficult for Long to hold off those behind him. He's off to a great start, but the chances of him securing a Starting spot for the Mariners over the next three seasons for anything more than 120 games are pretty slim.

But he had a month off in between. I don't think you can place a lot of stock on the first week or two of the AFL. After they've been playing for a while, let's see where they are.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Maybe they'll trade him back to us.

Possible, though it won't be this Winter.

Isn't AFL meant to be used on one thing and one thing only and stats should be thrown out the window?

India snaps his AFL skid at 0-23, hitting a double in his second AB of the night that scored Stuart Fairchild.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
