Open question to all?
I have a theory that the increase in home runs and exit velocity is due to greatly improved hand eye coordination of the players today. My explanation may sound off the wall, but I credit video games. When I played once fall came around you played football or basketball and did not pick-up a bat till February or March. Took the better part of the spring to start and get the hand eye coordination back.
Today kids have constant hand eye coordination with the various video games they play year round and from a very young age. With baseball requiring the highest level of hand eye coordination of just about all of sports, has to make a difference?
Thoughts ?
Marty being honored by the Brewers TV crew. Cowboy getting a jump start on the food in the background.

Increase in home runs is due to the ball and smaller parks, and increase in exit velocity is due to faster pitchers (which is due to, in part, not pitching as much as they used to). Video games don't do anything but keep certain kids away from sports and increase diabetes in the population generally.
Where we gonna go?
