    I wish Freddie Benevides was back in the starting lineup.

    Peraza at SS with his defensive regurgitaton last night is inexcusable.

    @Reds
    The Reds will don their military appreciation uniforms tonight as we welcome guests from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and dozens of Combat Wounded Veterans of the Military Order of the Purple Heart

    There have to be guys that you could pull off the scrap heap...or trade for...that wouldn't be OPS+ = 61. Simply inexplicable what the FO sees in him.

    Looking at the line-up, I've gotta say there have been many times this year I don't quite understand Bell's decisions. I understand analytics is the thing these days, but I'm in agreement that things like sitting a hot player goes against common sense. I think to be a great manager, you also have to use your instinct and go against the stats occasionally. Baseball's got a little bit of magic to it too.
    you said it! welcome aboard the s.s. redzone.

    Agree. As the old saying goes...there's lies, damned lies and statistics. On another note...when did we start allowing youngster's onto the site. JFWY...I'm 59. Welcome.

    I just hate that set up. Any ball to his right is right to the 2nd baseman. I don’t in any way see how it helps anything. Makes an easy play harder and doesn’t add a scratch of range.

    Swing 3-0 got him timed up for the 3-1 pitch.

    No idea why Peraza still gets to play SS, Iglesias is far superior on defence and has been clearly better on offence this year.

    It's like Groundhog Day. Rival that gives a damn about winning brings a new guy in and he destroys the Reds. Reminds me of when the Cards picked up Holliday.
    Rounding third and heading for home...
