Rules question - if the ball skips back to the punter like that (or the punter drops the ball) are you allowed to run into the kicker? It’s always an awkward play.

It was blatant and missed but it wasn’t play affecting.
Dunno, but a kicker is just one of four in the backfield until they start the act of kicking. Before that, have at 'em. They don't have quarterback protected species status.
