Yeah I always cringe on a botched snap like that thinking “now don’t run into him” but if I’m drafting the rules of it if the ball hits the ground (it’s now a loose ball/fumble) the kicker should lose protection due to that chaos.

Yeah but it didn’t affect the play. And it just would have pushed the rolling Buckeyes back 5 yds.

Many TD’s have an uncalled penalty that would wipe it out. It looks like the complaining about it will be forgotten.

But that flinch did not affect what transpired after the ball was snapped for all intents and purposes. As opposed to a hold on a long run etc...

That is true...but like I said, it wouldn't matter anyway. OSU is playing waaaaay better in the 2nd half.

It’s revisionist history but if

1) The Bucks score a TD instead of turning it over in the RZ in the first half

And

2) Don’t allow that awful end of half TD drive.

Then are they the #1 seed? Hate to say it but it’s possible.
