Personally I like the narrative of getting off the mat and going on a 27-0 run. I fear the committee (and the media pressure) will not agree with me.

Its definately possible...LSU played really well also. I just think with OSU already being #1 and playing as well as they did in the 2nd half, they should be #1

Say what you will about the SEC, but no way the conference would ask one of it's teams to play the 3 toughest games of the conference schedule in consecutive weeks like the B1G asked of Ohio State this year.

I guess I fall for the SEC hype. But the Buckeyes proved themselves today. I can see the case for them at #1. Playing Oklahoma is a lot different than Clemson.

I could have done without the overwhelming anxiety attack earlier tonight, otherwise known as the first half of this game, but these Buckeyes showed SOOOOOO much perseverance, determination, and passion in the second half that I am even more impressed with this team. They could have felt bad for themselves and stayed flat but instead they fixed the errors, hit the gas pedal, and never looked back. Ryan Day might be the best coach in college football for making adjustments at halftime. I love this team. Congrats on the B1G Championship and now it's onward and upward to the playoff!

LSU was going to be #1 unless OSU dominated from start to finish. It’s just the way it works. But if Wisconsin and Georgia were playing next week on a neutral, I’d gladly place large bets on Wisconsin. They’re better than Georgia, regardless of the letters at the end of their name.

I am not a fan of any of the four teams that will be in the playoff, but I expect that LSU will be seeded as number 1 and will face Oklahoma. Ohio State will be seeded as number 2 and will face Clemson.

As I was watching the various games yesterday with my brother I talked about how everyone has been hyping, talking about everyone BUT Clemson. It's like they're being ignored. And maybe they like that position, not having the attention (pressure). But I told my brother that when all is said and done I could see Clemson winning it all. This is a veteran, experienced team that has not only been there, but won it.

It just seems like the media ... which has already predicted 'Bama (Saban's) demise ... is "pushing" anyone but Clemson (LOL).
