That was a lack of experience play. The slice on that ball from a left hand hitter isn't something he's seen much.

I had to step out, was Thom incredulous that Lauer was pulled after 4?
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

A special shout out tonight goes to Evelyn Deerman of Grayson Kentucky. Today Evelyn turns 137 years old. ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY SEVEN!!! She tunes in every night to watch the Redlegs. One hundred and thirty seven. WOW! Good for her.

Hit him in the glove. He was right there. Touch it, catch it.

Bottom line is he shouldn't be out there in an MLB game.

    A 6 pitch inning with a K plays nicely.

Yup. He was going on about how Jim Maloney threw 187 pitches on this day in 1965.

He makes his share of errors in the infield too, maybe he's the problem.

I wouldn't be playing Peraza in the outfield, but he has played there before and he's only out there because of a last minute injury scratch. I'd say I'm surprised we're shifting the blame on a whiffed fly ball to David Bell specifically here but it's pretty clear that's just a default position for some.

I hadn't tuned in yet but did he really say that?

Does he realize Maloney's elbow was basically confetti?

    Bronx cheer for Peraza

I don’t want bad things for Jose. Right now Jose seems as beloved as Edwin Encarcion before he was moved
