Yep. Peraza is completely dependent on BABIP. Who knew? Well most of us actually.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Freddy got that one on the fat part of the bat, right on the top edge of the strike zone. Nice two out result.

Galvis has now hit a home run from each side of the plate since joining the Reds.

He had what? 184 hits last year. As he got rolling I just kept thinking....why do teams shift on most everyone but don’t scoot he heck in on hitters like Peraza?

Last year of those 184 hits it seemed like 100 were just contact shots that fell between infield and outfield ....the balls that beat the outfielders were HR....very very few balls were struck with his typical trajectory that got over their heads or gapped for doubles.

Seem like some adjustments have been made around the league. A lot of his doubles are down one line or the other. I would move in even more until he started burning the outfielders.

Bauer well over 3000 pitches for the season. Leads MLB in innings pitched and averages 17.4 pitches per inning. Next highest pitches per inning in the top 30 in IP is 17.1.

Mets went to the WS in 2000 Thom, not 99
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
