20 innings. He has yet to give up a run in the month of August. He came into the contest with 18 straight scoreless.

Just got off a flight and looked at the score and then the box score. Saw Barnhart 5th and Iglesias 6th, man this season hasn’t gone according to plan. AA also in the 4 spot. Nobody would have ever guessed that lineup in March.

Joe Torre is almost 80. Imagine how big of a POS his Dad was to still affect Joe this much after the life and career he’s had. Some serious stuff and a great battle he is fighting.

Sonny Gray has to be in the discussion for the best offseason trade/signing in MLB

No doubt. I was fortunate to grow up with a pair of loving parents who never would think of abusing anyone. I can't imagine what a childhood like his would have been like. Kudos to him for using his platform to bring more awareness to it.
Rounding third and heading for home...

looking at the Padres roster....their starting pitching is fairly solid, and they are all young....and they have some nice young pieces in the lineup

While this is all true, it seems like every year they make a lot of moves in the offseason, people praise them, and then they go nowhere.

I’m fairly surprised the Padres haven’t called Gray out yet for the amount of crap he has on the bill of his hat.
