    Ervinís throw was close to as bad as Peraza in LF the other day....but also Dietrich was backing up but nowhere near in line with the throw.

    Some horrible horrible baseball being played

    Then I would submit you try to take advantage of having men on base. Rather than wasting those baserunners to clear the pitcherís spot. Itís a very defensive way to play baseball.

    Not that Ervin should swing at ball four, but the take sign would be incorrect in that spot IMO.

    Dietrich's white out under the eyes might have been a factor.

    ok, yeah I agree that when I say green light, I am talking about the typical 3-0 fastball down the middle....I think Ervin swinging at a pitch straight down the middle of the plate has much higher chances to score the run that Bauer.
