Seriously, I hope we can find someone to take him in the off-season. There’s a reason the Indians were trying so desperately to off-load him. We’re seeing it.

I think the most HR he’s hit in a year was 14 so he doesn’t have a lot of pop. If he is trying to hit HRs then he is probably just aware of the situation. He’s been a 240-250 batter his whole minor league career and if he wants to stay in the majors and be an everyday player he’s going to have to hit more HRs. I have no idea what he’s trying to do but that’s the situation he’s in

No, I’m going with the percentages. Players hit better ahead in the count. Ervin has a good OBP and generally a good eye. Reds had two men on base. Most managers will try and score those runs.

Great bunt by Jose. DD tries it but should have pulled the bat back.

no, it was like a double decker sternwheel.....had something about cruises on the side of it....but where the sternwheel would normally be, there was a smaller tug looking boat similar to what pushes the barges pushing it...here is a pic of it...

I don't think Casali is his "personal catcher". Casali has been injured since Bauer joined the club -- this is the first time they have played together.

Ervin has a .293 OB% this year vs righties and ..679 OPS

Using your numbers in this day of platooning....why would Ervin be batting 14th in this crap lineup?

As more Reds return, I wouldn’t be surprised if DD and Peraza were cut loose.

Peraza isn’t playing much. I think the die may be cast for him.

DD hasn’t improved since his return.

Dietrich now has scrapped the white out and put blackout under the eyes. I thought the white really fit into the outfit the Reds have worn in P-burg.

I have seen better teams in single A than what the Reds are putting on the field. They are lazy, show no emotion...basically going through the motions. They need big changes.

Ahh, something like a double-decker party barge. Never seen anything like that before!
