Sonny Gray’s 1.59 ERA since July 1 (including today) is the third lowest in the majors (min: 40 IP) behind Jacob deGrom (1.22) and Jack Flaherty (1.33).

Does anyone else get that sick stomach feeling every time they watch Homer Bailey run out there every 5th day for the A's like he's the Lou Gehrig of pitchers?
And put up numbers like 12-8 and a decent ERA?
He has won 2x more games this season for the A's & Royals than he did for the $80 Million the Reds paid him for 5 seasons.

    No, can’t say I care.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Not even a little bit. I dont hold grudges against players because they got hurt and were unable to perform up to expectations. Could his attitude have been better at certain times? Sure, but I dont see why anyone here would wish him anything but the best. I'm glad he is having a decent year and hope he can rebound and have a great end to his career as well.

And his 5.06 ERA. No thanks.

Bailey has had a lot of benefit from pitching in pitchers parks and facing some very bad al line ups. Mariners tigers Orioles white sox

Yea, he may have an 11-8 record but his ERA (including 5.68 with the A's) isn't anything to write home about.

It's funny how that happens when the Reds win.

I didn't watch last night. I'm taking some of Roy Tucker's advice and taking a break after the horrible weekend in Pittsburgh. Maybe I should stay away more since they won?

Was there really 5297 at the game or was that a bump up from what was really there? I don't how either team in Florida can exist with that kind of paltry attendance. MLB should really look to move or contract those franchises.

Homer's got a 5.82 ERA for Oakland...they can have him.

No, beside his good W/L record, the rest of his stats aren't too good.
