nah, there are definitely tiers, but I fully admit it's not great that I know this

I've eaten at plenty of high end restaurants, and frankly I'd take Cook Out over most of them. I'm lucky there aren't any in Ohio.

Anyway, I ate the Popeye's sandwich. It's very good, and a very adequate Chik-Fil-A replacement for the people who were looking for one.

I'm trying to eat a lot less meat overall which comes with a side effect of avoiding fast food most of the time, which is a smart move to be making anyway as I close in on 40.

Seriously, when I accidentally eat chicken, my first thought is always that whatever I'm eating is rotten. How do you people eat the stuff.

(disclaimer; I was raised in a house where chickens were frequently killed and cooked, and the memory of this smell alone makes me sick. I wish people would stop ruining perfectly good food like pizza and enchiladas by putting chicken in it.)

No Popeyes here, though we get their commercials constantly, but my fav fast food chicken sandwich is Zaxby's, their fries are awesome as well.

I miss Zaxby's, loved it when I lived in Atlanta.

All the best fast food is in the south I think.

When I worded for UPS during the winter months, they would bring in thousands of chicken sandwiches from Fil-A to feed us. Therefore, I think I can throw in my sentiments.

    Wendy's spicy chicken if cooked correctly ( a huge IF ) beats Fil-A, haven't tried Popeye's yet.

I do like Wendy's Spicy Chicken, but you have to go to the right Wendy's. A fresh Wendy's Spicy Chicken Sandwich is delicious. But some will cook cook up the spicy chicken breasts and then let them sit too long so that they get dried out.

How does a fast food place run out of soda? That seems unpossible.

Keep the nasty sandwich and give me the bone in chicken.

It was good and it was a massive piece of chicken but in the end I still give the regular chicken sandwich nod to Chick Fil A and the spicy nod to Wendy's.

I went into a MacDonalds to get a Coke for my wife just last week and they were out. I couldn't believe it either but that's what they told me and just water was coming out the fountain part for Coke.

Someone didn't order enough of the soda syrup. Bang for the buck give me Dairy Winkle here in Campbell's Creek near Charleston. Of the big chains give me Wendy's and Hardee's over the rest.

If the sandwiches are close, the nod still goes to Chick-Fil-A because their service runs circles around any other fast food chain.

    ---USA TODAY

If you haven't had a chance to try Popeyes' new chicken sandwich, you'll likely have to wait.

While there have been some reports of locations across the country selling out of the popular sandwich, now Popeyes says it expects to sell out nationwide by the end of the week.

"The demand for the new Chicken Sandwich in the first few weeks following launch far exceeded our very optimistic expectations," the chicken chain said in a statement sent to USA TODAY on Tuesday. "In fact, Popeyes aggressively forecasted demand through the end of September and has already sold through that inventory."

The social media feud between the two has been pretty comical.

PS: We know the religious side of Chick Fil A. Doesn’t really need to be discussed and moved to the other forum. This is for the sandwiches.
Its flippin' fast food. It's like two dumpsters fighting over how many garbage pandas climb inside.
