Guys like Lucas Sims, BobSteve could be huge

I’ll guess Kyle Farmer gets to the mound

Can't find a definitive answer. Just got in and some old woman is taking on FSO and it says PPD, but nothing more. WLW is worthless as they talk on and on with their usual BS. I hate WLW.

    From Nightengale Twitter:

#Reds series opener is rained out. Doubleheader on Saturday and Sunday. #Cardinals

Trevor Bauer will start Game 1 on Saturday; Sonny Gray in Game 2. Sunday’s starters are TBA

Sounds like an advantageous situation for the Cardinals. That sucks with the next game being on Monday against the Phils . No luck for the Reds with what was already a brutal schedule.

    Feels like a split
That's pretty exciting. Kudos to those who get to attend all four games.

At least two Suarez and two Aquino HR's over the weekend.

    ...and 3 HBP's from Dietrich.

R.I. needs to step up. He's needed both days.

Would be the perfect time to experiment. Stephenson starts one game Gausman another. (I don't expect Bell to try this).

I think they'll go Bauer and Gray Saturday
    Mahle and Castillo Sunday.

I think the pitching matchups favor the Reds in 3 of 4 games over the weekend. I’d be surprised if at minimum they fail to split.

Getting 3 innings (at most) from each receiver to start the doubleheader games is an excellent way of wearing out your bullpen.

I certainly hope Bell doesn't try this.

Gausman was starting for most of this season and went 6 and 7 innings in last two starts at the end of July. He should be able to go deep into the game assuming he is effective.
