    The Reds have:
    1) "The Punisher" for a clean-up hitter, who after a month in MLB is being intentionally walked instead of a guy with 39 home runs who would have put the DP in order.
    2) "The Punished" for a closer with an exorbitant number of blown saves and losses.

Absolutely. He’s a middle reliever. Big leads or big defecits should be his role now.

That’s the reasoning, sure. Keeping guys available for another doubleheader.

But it only works with an effective pitcher relieving Lorenzen.

Reds are a complete joke. They continue to do the same things that lose them games.

    Hey Bell...learn, man.

If the Reds are swept by the Cardinals it might anger Castellini enough to fire Bell.

it sucks, but this is one of those things we had to find out as we close the season and go into the offseason. I feel it is clear the Reds should not count on Iglesias as the Closer going into next season as of now.

Well, since the Reds are completely out of playoff contention, there is nothing to save them for.

Son of a *****, I went to clean the Vacumn at home and instead Iglesias sucked more than the vacumn, Geeezus, I don't even want us to win another game this year with Bell as manager or Iglesias as our Closer, Let's just sit the people we want to come back and let the youngsters play to see what we have. No point If bell is going to constantly blow our games instead. Leave in Lorenzen, He was doing just fine.

Bell isn’t going to be fired. Reds simply must address the deficiencies on the team.
