You know I don't have a problem of who is in the line up but where some of them are batting. Barnhart 4th? Pitcher batting 8th? All that shows me is that the manager is saying he is the smartest man in the room and I can bat the pitcher 8th and win no matter what.

Especially the worst-hitting pitcher we have.

But I have noticed that Bell is more likely to bat the pitcher 8th against a top-of-the-rotation type of pitcher, like Nola.

When the pitcher is the worst hitting, that's when its most valuable not to bat him #9 so he doesn't kill the inning when it starts with #9!

Are they tanking again? Right now picking 10th but will need to be stoutly committed to losing the next three weeks to really move up to around 7th or so.
