    I don’t care when the game starts as long as they win

    Went through the motions last night, suprised Peralta isn't opener tonight, followed by Garrett (the walking man) and then Herget but the way Bauer has been (and probably will be, the Indians knew that), results may be the same.

    To me there is 0 excuse for a guy like Tucker Barnhart hitting 4th for a major league team. Especially one that shipped off their best prospects within the calendar year. Just unacceptable

    Here's the thing...Tucker Barnhart is not even a starter on a decent team. If he does start for any team, he's a #8 hitter. Putting him in as your cleanup hitter is this:

    I’m not in love with the idea of Tucker hitting cleanup.

    But over the last month he’s put up these numbers

    .290/ .400/ .519/ for a .919 OPS

    Bell seemed more creative with his lineups at the beginning of the year.

    This lineup just seems like the result of deep clinical depression.

    When the pitcher is the worst hitting, that's when its most valuable not to bat him #9 so he doesn't kill the inning when it starts with #9!

    The complaints against Tucker hitting cleanup predict he provides the game winning hit.

    Barnhart is a bum!!! Since he's come back from injury his lousy slash line is (in 116 PA) .310/.405./.500/.905.

    From Twitter:

    David Bell said Eugenio Suárez was taking swings today and may be available off the bench tonight

    Bobby Nightengale
    @nightengalejr

    Nick Senzel was scratched from the #Reds lineup. Brian O'Grady will start in CF. Phillip Ervin is playing LF. Club hasn't announced a reason why Senzel was scratched yet.
    “I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
