Agree with yanking Castillo, don’t like Kuhnel getting the call.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I figured for sure Kuhnel would gas in both of those runs. Thankfully I was wrong.

Nice start by Luis, very encouraging. Would be nice to get some runs now.

It’d sure be nice if Kuhnel can be part of the answer to our bullpen woes next year

VanMeter's wings are melting, now plummeting to Earth.

Hitting lefty VM against the lefty in that spot speaks volumes about the lack of hitting depth on the Reds. He’s a platoon player and they didn’t have a RHH they trusted to bat for him.

Reds really have some work to do on this offensive lineup.

Weren't Senzel and Blandino both available to PH?

Kuhnel throwing 94-95. I thought he brought gas?

Blandino was on deck to hit for, I guess, the pitcher.

Senzel I assume is too hurt to hit, although he pinch ran yesterday.

VanMeter definitely struggles vs LHPs but you can’t blame him for that strike out. It was clearly high

Don’t know why Kuhnel was left in for this inning, let alone to load up the bases

First time I've seen Kuhnel pitch. He doesn't look very confident out there at all.

Because Bell doesn't have a clue how to handle a pitching staff.
