The mighty Geno has struck out
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Good God Suarez....teams in contention aren’t going to serve you fastballs down the middle.

Well that stank.. Oh well.. It's not AS IF I expected the Reds to suddenly come from behind to win the division.

    Well damn

Another game where the starter pitches his ass off and comes away with an L because the offense can't do anything. Reds get shutout for what feels like the 30th time this season.

Offense better be addressed in a major way this winter.

I was following via Gamecast so you lose context there, but it looked like Aquino and Geno both took a slider right in the meatiest part of the strike zone for a strike looking.

Were they hangers or did they start really high and drop into the zone?

I was watching from the kitchen so someone else can chime but they did start somewhat high but were still pitches they could have hammered. Saurez watched it and then immediately swung at one not close. I'm no expert though, nor do I post a lot. I read the game threads here every game though and always enjoy them. Helps me deal with the pain of being a Reds fan, lol.

The pitcher had a goofy motion and throwing soft sliders down the middle and they were sweeping hard off the plate toward the Reds dugout and pitcher did same thing....like he and the ball were on a string attached....he kept doing it and they kept swinging looking ridiculous
