watching the Mariners broadcast....earlier they were talking about the Reds season, and said the Reds "started off the season swinging the bats well, but could not maintain the hot hitting the led to success early in the season"

Sonny strikes out the side in the 4th
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

not sure if it is because its two non playoff teams just playing out the schedule or the west coast time (and I feel less energized / excited)....but these Seattle games have felt like the most "dead" environment for a game all year

5 scoreless for Sonny. He's allowed just a pair of walks.

This is my spouse's 1st Major League game. Hopefully, she's good luck. So far, so good.

Sonny works around a two out hit batter to get Shed swinging on a full count.

Still scoreless through 6. Problem is the pitch count is already approaching 100.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I have tickets to go to the game tomorrow night, but I had the chance to go tonight.

    I'm already mad at myself.

Sonny Gray is such a boring pitcher tonight. Nothing’s happened all game long.

Same here. Sitting behind home plate.
