If The Reds are ever going to consistently have any success they have to start getting guys from their own system to be successful. He had great numbers in the minors and has all the tools to be successful.

It's on a The Reds to get him there. They can't keep going outside he organization for every need.

It's a little weird how close those fans looked to the visitor bullpen. Like they could reach it and grab Lucas Sims' hat off his head if they wanted.
That’s the thing about rebuilds isn’t it? It takes longer than that window for even good young arms to become established.

Agree on Mahle. Can’t give up on a 24 year old starter who’s come this far. Doesn’t mean he gets a rotation spot automatically, but can’t give up so easily.

Hay guise.....he’s gonna keep throwing softer than you think and also toy with the zone. He doesn’t throw that 95 mph straight ball. Maybe kinda maybe consider that he’s not going to throw 95 over the plate and maybe devise a plan.

    Oppo might be a plan

The office is going to have to pull off some big moves this winter to get people excited

Hopefully they don't trade more good prospects for 1 year rentals to drive a small attendance boost, just setting back the org with those moves.
