One of the underrated rockers from my generation. One of those performers that has a long list of songs you don’t realize you know and like.

I understand he lived about 20 miles south of me in St Augustine.

Got to see Eddie Money lead the Chicken Dance live at Fountain Square. I saw him in concert long after his popularity faded. It was obvious he did not care at all. At one point, he simply stopped singing, and went over to talk to the guitarist about something. And then he walked back and finished the song. I wore out the grooves in his titular album. RIP, Eddie.

I knew a guy who worked at Bogarts back in the 90s who said Money did more coke backstage than any musician he'd seen.

Wow. I didn't know that. I assume it was for Oktoberfest. You remember how long ago that was?

I had a nice lunch with one of Nancy Wilson's guitar techs in Saint Augustine, there are a few of those people in that town.

    Didnt know Eddie was there.

Always had a weak spot for Eddie Money. Nobody sung out the side of their face better.

This surprised me mostly because I thought he really was a vampire.
