    Sure like to see Lorenzen start to get some hits.. Hate to see him blow this opportunity and go back to only pitching and pinch hitting

    Why? That's exactly where he should be. With this bullpen we don't need Lorenzen getting hurt playing in some carnival game in CF.

    It's simply unrealistic for us fans to think he can hit well over a large sample size with so little time actually given to the act.

    Me, OTOH, would prefer Lorenzen pitch and pitch well. He was a surprise before and now they have a book on him.

    I am not sure why Lorenzen pitching well and playing the field is spoke about as being mutually exclusive.

    Keep in mind Gausman is a reverse split pitcher and the Cubs have 4 players who will likely hit left handed today.
