    That’s incredibly head scratching. Sonny Gray can’t throw up and in?

    That’s fine if you wanna pitch to your strengths....then don’t shift.

    I think it was Tucker Barnhart saying it. The point seemed to be that you shift because that’s what the hitter naturally does. So go at him with your best, and be where he hits it. It’s definitely counterintuitive, though.
