    9/27/2019 Reds at Pirates

Blandino must feel lousy. Batting behind two pitchers. Not a good look for Stanford baseball.

    Reds Fan Since 1971

Trying to think of a reason to follow the game tonight but I think it will just be an early night.

I can understand that feeling, but there are 3 Reds games left until next year. I'll watch at least part of each game.

I plan on watching all 3 games. I've been rooting for the Reds for as long as I can remember, I'm not gonna stop now.

Blandino is baseball smart enough to realize the value of not batting a light hitting pitcher in the 9th spot in the order.

Tonight is Steve Blass' last game in the TV both. They said he's had over 60 years with the Pirates and today the Pittsburgh mayor declared it Steve Blass Day.

Blandino is the first 1Bman to bat 9TH in the order in a NL park since 1926
