He's got some bat-on-ball issues, carrying a .254 career BA in the minors. That has the potential to crater as he starts facing better pitchers who aren't going to hand him as many free passes.

Most of us are confined to studying minor league stats in our analyses. While his stats have been lackluster, the Reds have promoted him aggressively. I see that as a positive coming from those closer to the game and his ability to learn and develop.

It took India awhile to emerge at college. His first two seasons were good, then he really exploded. I’m guessing that he will only get better, has great potential.

It doesn’t really matter where he ranks in polls and prospect lists, agree.

I’ll vote for him next round. Voted Stephenson here because of the scarcity of strong hitting catchers. But a close call, India may be the best hitting prospect in the organization.

I'll vote Garcia next, then India. After that comes a scrum of half dozen guys that are clearly a long step down.
99% of all numbers only tell 33% of the story so when looking at the numbers remember that numbers is plural...

Stu Fairchild won me over a bit last year.

The guy I'm probably going to get to early is Jose Acosta. He went .395/.481/.579 last season between the DSL and AZL. Normally I'd like to see more before going full helium on him, but we're fairly quickly going to get to a point where for every guy I'd either like to see more or I've seen too much to be excited about him. I don't know exactly where I want to slot him yet, but he's for sure inside my top 10.

    Love Acosta.

But yeah, he has a long, long way to go.
